May 25, 2008- Lots of news. I graduated this week with my BFA in photography
from MICA. My senior thesis was on display for the Commencement Exhibition
and was received well. I photographed a dear friend's wedding on the 17th and an
event for the Ploughshares Fund on the 20th. The event was held at the Italian
Embassador's residence in DC and included a brief discussion between
Michael Douglas, Joseph Cirincione, and Senator Chuck Hagel. The site for the
organization can be found here.

April 29, 2008- added a new section for the start of a site which will outline the
background for my photography in Latvia and Lithuania- explaining my family ties
as well as a bit about the countries themselves. Also linked to this section, is
my newly begun blog which will be a way to track my progress a little more
immediately and a lot less formally. To take a look at the section, click on the
doll in the lower right hand corner on the main page of my site or click here.

April 4, 2008- Photographer and friend Daniel Shea gave a gallery talk today on his
ongoing project documenting the affects of the coal industry in the Appalachia area.
I was so excited I brought my mom.

March 28, 2008- it is my pleasure (and honor) to announce that I have been selected
as this year's Senior recipient of the Meyer Traveling Fellowship Award. My plans for
travel are being enthusiastically drawn out and I should be leaving the country from
around June 19th until mid-September.

March 25, 2008- The juried MICA photo book lists have been posted and i'm happy
to announce my appearance for the second year in this wonderful publication. More
info later on release dates.
